Tadmor Greenes name comes from the City of Tadmor that was abandoned after construction of the Taylorsville Dam near Vandalia, north of Dayton, where the nursery started in 2020. While Greene is the last name of the owner, Charlie Greene. 5 yrs later Tadmor Greenes is now located in Dayton in the Historic Huffman neighborhood and cranks out a large diversity of native plants sold regularly at 2nd Street Market every Saturday during the outdoor market from May - October. The mission of Tadmor Greenes is to show that even the smallest change to your urban landscape or outdoor flower pot can have a huge impact benefitting our pollinators. Ohio is home to a LARGE diversity of native plants! It’s time to Plant Native!
